EVENTO
Introduction to Shape Optimization. Shape and Topological Sensitivity Analysis
Tipo de evento: Seminário LNCC
In the first part of presentation two concepts of numerical shape optimization are introduced:- Shape gradient of the functional depending on domain of integration of differential equations;- Shape Hessian of the shape functional. The shape gradients and the shape Hessians are described in details for simple model problems. In the second part of presentation new results on shape-topological sensitivity analysis of the linear elasticity variational inequalities in domains with cracks are presented. At the first step of optimization procedure the Griffith's functional is defined in the form of a shape gradient for the moving nonlinear crack. At the second step of the procedure the topological derivative of the Griffith's functional with respect to insertion of inclusions is obtained. In this way the optimum design problems for the domains with cracks can be solved by a shape optimization procedure. In such shape optimization problems the goal is to have the given damage scenario.
